The RBS-52 Bookshelf Speakers were designed to deliver a studio quality sound reproduce along with great aesthetics. No short cuts were taken in the assemblage of the RBS-52. That is why they were equipped with 25mm silk dome tweeters to allow faster response, as well as higher frequency range. The 5.25” mid-bass driver has a low mass rigid carbon fiber cone and a large surround that is glued to the basket using Earthquake’s patented PistonMax Technology to provide you with 25% more accurate sound pressure as well as low harmonic distortion. Two rounded ports have been added to the back of the finely finished matte black cabinet to enhance the low frequency and precisely tune it to 40Hz. Earthquake Sound has always understood the importance of sound quality and enjoyment of the user’s experience. That is why Earthquake has designed the RBS-52 with 25 mm silk dome NEO tweeters to allow faster response, as well as a better frequency range. This feature, coupled with the 5.25” low mass rigid carbon fiber mid bass driver with patented Piston-max™ technology provides you with 25% more accurate sound pressure levels as well as lower harmonic distortion.
