Trojan Smart Em Rex Emergency Exit / Door Release Unit – Used in Electronic Access Control – Backlit – Supports 9~16VDC Input – 2 Sets of N/C Outputs The Smart Em Rex ® operates in the same way as the standard Em Rex ® (Emergency Exit Device) but also includes LED backlighting which enables the unit to be located easily, providing greater safety during emergencies in areas with limited lighting. The Smart Em Rex ® operates from 10 to 30Vdc. Key Features :- The unit is field re-settable, a reset tool is supplied with every unit The activation window is made from a durable polycarbonate, no parts require replacement after an activation Two outputs; one to break lock power and one for status monitoring Visual confirmation of activation, a red indicator bar appears once activated Audible confirmation of activation via an internal sounder Auxiliary input for remote operation of sounder, this can be triggered by external trigger or by installation in the Em Rex ® Monitored Cover unit (see here ) LED backlit to enable the unit to be located easily in areas with limited lighting Minimal moving parts Complies with BS 5839 Pt 2. standard for emergency egress A Weather Protected version is also available
