RS485 to RS232 Converter

The RS485 to RS232 converter enables the connection of EzePass 2 and EzePass 4 controls on a twisted pair RS-485 network to a personal computer.



The bi-directional, auto turnaround or flow control selected RS-485 to RS-232 converter is powered from either an external 12 volt supply or from the serial port itself. 



A DB9 connector is used for the RS-232 serial port and a terminal block connection for the RS-485 network.



Line termination is controlled by an on board dip switch. 



The RS485 network supports up to 32 drops.
