It creates a link between mobile telephone SMS text messages and Rako RF based receivers. The unit accepts standard SMS text messages up to 160 characters long. Used to remotely control lighting, curtains and blinds, as well as trigger sequences and events in the Rako RAMB1 timeclock module. Requires a seperate GSM Modem.?

TEXT CONTROL
The RAVSMS gateway allows scene control from any device that can transmit a SMS text message, such as a mobile phone or computer. SMS messages up to 160 characters give the facility to create a macro or sequence from just one message, as each scene command is just 4 characters long. When used in combination with the Rako RAMB1 timeclock, remote activation of ‘holiday mode’ and sequences stored in the timeclock is possible. The unit comes pre-wired with connection for a GSM Modem, supplied separately.?
