Powered by Ubiquiti's airOS and its advanced wireless and routing functionality the Ubiquiti AirRouter HP is a powerful multi-purpose 802.11n SOHO Wireless Router. The AirRouter can be deployed as a Wireless Router or as a Wireless Bridge to expand an existing network. The Ubiquiti AirRouter has a broad range of wireless modes which include: Station, Station WDS, Access Point, Access Point WDS and AP Repeater.
Further features include DHCP relay, Ubiquiti AirMAX support, VLAN support, Advanced Access Control List management (ACL), UPnP support and airView the radio signal statistics and signal analyser.
Additional privacy, security and performance can be achieved with the AirRouter by using Ubiquiti's proprietary channel shifting feature between other Ubiquiti devices.
The HP version of the Ubiquiti AirRouter has a higher output power (thus further range) than its Ubiquiti AirRouter counterpart, and additionally comes with PoE support and an external high gain antenna.
